Principal & Founder

RAVEN  THOMPSON

Raven Thompson is Principal & founder of Southeast Housing Development Partners, LLC. She is responsible for business development expansion through joint ventures with other developers and public & private partnership with soliciting PHAs. She will oversee projects from conception to completion. She has closed over $200 million in 4% tax-exempt bond financing for affordable housing projects. Her experience spans across several complex multi-phase & mixed-use development projects like that of the revitalization of Englewood Manor, a 30.4-acre real estate development in Atlanta, Ga located in the Chosewood Park Neighborhood. In addition, other project sites include Edgehill at Southtown, a 22-acre master redevelopment site in Birmingham, Alabama; Astoria at Crystal Lake, a 10.90 acre site in Douglasville, Ga and Hillcrest II, a 6-acre site located in Eastpoint, Ga.

Development Coordinator

Chloe Thompson serves as Development Coordinator for Southeast Housing Development Partners, LLC, where she provides development administrative, design, and predevelopment support for affordable housing and mixed-use development pursuits. Chloe will assist with the preparation of Tax-Exempt Bond, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit application & materials, as well as conduct site visit alongside our hired architect firm's field project manager to develop field reports & documentation for desirable/undesirable site review forms and project photography. She will also assist construction management with document control & monthly construction reports, and review of city ordinances. Chloe is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture at Kennesaw State University, with coursework in design foundations, visual analysis, communications, and economics. Her architectural training provides a strong foundation for understanding site context, design intent, project documentation, and the relationship between housing development and the built environment. Prior to joining SHDP’s project support team, Chloe completed an architecture internship with Corcoran Ota, an Atlanta based architect firm in Sandy Springs, Georgia, where she observed professional office operations, assisted with documentation tasks, organized project-related materials, supported drafting and planning activities, and used Revit to independently design and model a mock residential townhouse concept. She also brings experience in graphic design, digital file management, project organization, Canva, Adobe tools, Microsoft Word and Excel, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and InDesign. Through her academic background, design exposure, and hands-on project coordination support, Chloe contributes to SHDP’s capacity to prepare organized, visually clear, and responsive development materials. Her role supports the firm’s commitment to thoughtful planning, disciplined execution, and community-centered housing solutions.

ROBERT GROSS 

Robert Gross is a native of Mississippi and a graduate of Delta State University, where he concentrated in Insurance and Real Estate. He brings a unique blend of construction procurement and development support experience, having served as Director of Procurement with Scott Construction. His background in contract negotiation, cost management, and subcontractor coordination strengthens the team’s ability to execute projects from predevelopment through construction, ensuring alignment between development objectives and field execution.
