Role: Director of Development

In this role, Raven Thompson served as the project owner, overseeing each development from initial concept through construction completion and stabilization of operations. Her responsibilities included leading development teams and meetings, managing consultants and third-party vendors, overseeing overall project budgets in coordination with construction management, monitoring GC cost tracking, navigating zoning and entitlements, guiding construction to completion, supporting lease-up efforts, and ensuring all equity partner stabilization requirements were met.

Project Details:

Southtown Senior is a 143-unit senior and family apartment community covering 158,384 square feet. Units are available in one-and two-bedroom floor plans. In addition to 143 units, Southtown Senior will also feature a fitness center, community room, and business center.

Astoria at Crystal Lake is a 165-unit senior apartment community covering 182,788 square feet. Units are available in one-and two-bedroom floor plans. In addition to 165 units, Astoria Senior will also feature spacious unit floorplans, fitness center, multipurpose community lounge, leasing office, wellness center, elevators, mailroom, large courtyard and community garden.

Englewood Senior is a 160-unit, independent senior apartment community covering  210,678 square feet. Units are available in one-and-two bedroom floor plans.  Amenities such as a centralized outdoor courtyard, computer room, fitness center/yoga, a multi-purpose community room, wellness room, arts and craft and onsite laundry. Other additional amenities include reating nooks & extra sitting rooms. Additionally, plans include over 15,000 square feet of retail space for the benefit of the building and community.

Her responsibilities included leading development teams and meetings, managing consultants and third-party vendors, overseeing overall project budgets in coordination with construction management, monitoring GC cost tracking, navigating zoning and entitlements, guiding construction to completion, supporting lease-up efforts, and ensuring all equity partner stabilization requirements were met.

Hillcrest II is a 166-unit, independent senior living apartment community.  Standard Amenities: In-Unit WD, Energy Star appliances, Media Room, Fitness Ctr, Computer Room, Arts & Craft, Game Room, Community Room, Community Garden & Courtyard.

Englewood Multifamily is a 200-unit, mixed-income apartment community covering  247,745square feet. Units are available in one-and-two bedroom floor plans. Amenities such as a centralized outdoor courtyard, computer room, fitness center/yoga, a multi-purpose community room.
